Most people in my college prefer to take rather well-paying jobs at corporate firms. This is often referred to as "selling out" or "kissin corp ass" etc etc. I have come to realise, through the wise words of my good friend Caaro, that the people who say that are mostly jealous of the salaries. Not to mention the good shoes and the fancy dresses. If these same derisive people were offered the jobs they would in all probability grab them.
Had a perfectly normal flight back which basically means:
a) the hard working people of the country decided to go on strike on that day
b) reached the airport with about 25 minutes to go
c) the person in front of me pushes seat all the way back to my neck
d) after completing above exercise, rubs noxious-smelling oil through hair [this is not the kind of normal noxious oil like Govinda's Navratna, this is proper hostel-room smelly!]
e) all the air hostesses flirt wildly with me and I join the mile high club
OK so maybe all of the above aint true [most probably (a) me thinks]
Bangalore babes are by far the best in the country. Reason: they know how to accessorise. It is pretty important.
My room is a complete mess and for once it is not my fault.

Nice post except that a lot of us with those jobs agree that we've sold out. Don't know about kissin ass though.
hmmm...derision is easiest when it is mixed in with some un-truths.
